Globe Telecom presentation case study preview

While at Amdocs Studio (fka Stellar Elements), leadership brought us in to create a presentation that would open a week of meetings with Globe, one of the largest telecom companies in the Philippines.

The goal was to demonstrate outside-the-box thinking from the very first slide.

We had 10 days to concept, build, and deliver the presentation to Globe's office in the Philippines, from a standing start.

As lead on the three prototypes, I sourced multiple devices locally, confirmed their exact dimensions, and coordinated with a remote team member on another continent to configure each one with ProtoPie, all before executives would experience them live.

As UX Lead, I focused on interface, functionality, and motion timing for each prototype, while collaborating closely with the creative leads on story, design language, and imagery, a genuinely in-the-trenches team effort.

Time was limited, so establishing a clear understanding of our users was critical.

Building personas helped the team align on who we were building for and what success looked like for each audience.

With that foundation, we were able to rapidly ideate, prototype, and evaluate concepts that solved meaningful problems instead of simply adding features.

Before landing on the three prototypes, we mapped a wider story space, four life contexts and the touchpoints within each where Globe's app could add value, from everyday convenience to more future-facing ideas.

This was conceptual, not a finished roadmap, but it shaped which three stories we chose to build.

Executives received printed persona materials at the table, then walked through each story in real time on the prepared devices.

The work was well received, and Amdocs Studio (fka Stellar Elements) won the client engagement as a result.

I learned ProtoPie specifically for this project, drawn to its easy file-sharing and how dynamic it felt compared to Figma's more rigid prototyping tools at the time.

Looking back now, with tools like Cursor putting real production-level speed in a designer's hands, I can only imagine how much further we could have pushed the story in the same 10 days.
